Polish Blues Day had a wonderful finale in Białystok. Many musicians whose names were placed on the Blues Alley in Białystok this year or earlier played on the stage with J.J. Band, including Bogdan Topolski and Piotr Karpienia with the Bang On! Blues band. Smooth Gentlemen also performed. The Blues Alley in Białystok is already 10 years old. Piotr Zielik is a saxophonist from Białystok who has been a part of blues bands for years, Paweł “Szucher” Szuszkiewicz, guitarist of Braci i Sióstra, also in Jan Gałach’s band, is also the originator of Supraśl Meetings Around Blues, Marek Gąsiorowski played successfully in the band Remont many years ago, now he leads Gęsia Skórka Blues Band. Bogdan Topolski is not only a great blues rock guitarist, but has been the artistic director of the Suwałki Blues Festival since its inception. Bartek Szopiński doesn’t really need to be introduced. He is a pianist, vocalist – a boogie man.
